Tonight we watched The Pianist, a movie about the Jewish musician Wladyslaw Szpilman who struggled to survive in Warsaw through World War II. It was not a fun movie, and I did not enjoy it.But it was good.
And tonight I am praying that I will always have the courage and conviction to confront images and ideas that are difficult.

ReplyDeleteoooh, i want to see this. (yes i realize it is an old movie and i should have been compelled to see it before 2011 but right now i am fascinated by all things polish...you had me at warsaw).
